Grappolo has been operating in the Serbian market for more than 15 years. In the beginning the company dealt with selling computers and IT equipment through a dealership network and to end buyers. We were not the first in the IT area, but we managed to position ourselves among the leading IT firms with our specific character, dedication to work and need of buyers. Our development and growth resulted from selection of good-quality products and top service we offered. Estimation of movement of our and global IT market directed us at new activities. We invested our own funds in development of an ERP class information system, intended for the regional market of small and middle-sized companies. Our software “IS Partner” achieved full automation of all our business processes and raised the level of our services through the module for electronic business B2B and B2C.

We also invest a lot in servicing sector, both in assets and equipment, and in our people and their education. Since the value of computers keeps falling, as well as percentage of profit from them, many IT companies keep lowering the offered quality. Grappolo noticed the room for servicing the others – bad quality computers. We opened the door of our professional and highly organized service center to all computer buyers in Serbia, especially in Belgrade. We want to provide a place for buyers of anyone’s computers where someone would solve their problems.

In the end, I must also mention the engineering and electric installation sector, the youngest part of the company, which managed to reach the rating of all other sectors in Grappolo very quickly. Many world-renown companies recognized our quality and potential, so that we became representatives of several top-class brands in Serbia. Our foreign partners are Gigabyte, Logitech, Kingston, Zyxel, Microlab, Optoma… we have been cooperating with all of them successfully for several years.

Grappolo is well known for its loyalty. Each product we import is only from one manufacturer. Our partners appreciate that, of course. As a Serbian company, we cannot be a top buyer of an international company, but we can be the most loyal and we can settle our liabilities in time, as we have always done.

Trade, servicing and information system project development are basic sectors of our company, through which we aspire to offer the best service to our clients. In the trade sector Grappolo has a large stock of good-quality merchandize at its disposal. Kind and dedicated salespersons react speedily to requests and needs of buyers. Delivery of goods is organized precisely and in a perfect way. In an event of a complaint related to quick and responsible. In the end of 2009 Grappolo introduced ISO standard 9001 and thus certified its business processes and service quality.

Servicing computers, laptops and other IT equipment, as I said before, is performed not only for our goods within the guarantee period, but for all clients who cannot solve their problem in other places and repair their devices and computers.

We have been producing computers for more than 15 years. Our product capacities and quality control provide us with the possibility to respond to requests of even the largest buyers timely. Regardless of capacities which enable serial production, we are proud to still be able to meet the needs of specific buyers’ requests through production at special request.

Grappolo employs highly educated engineers and electric installation specialists. We project, execute and certify: electric installations, computer networks, telephone systems, building security systems, fire-fighting systems, video supervision systems, systems for record of working hours with access control.

In 2006 Grappolo bought its own business building in Vozdovac, with surface of 2000 m2. As a loyal client of Raiffeisen bank for several years, we managed to get a very favourable loan for that purpose. New, comfortable, and designed for our purposes, this building ensured further development of the company and new activities, including the activities of the engineering and electric installation sector.

After reviewing the needs of companies operating in our region, as well as our own needs, we developed a universal software, enabling a progressive development of companies using it. Many companies, which did not have adequate software, were not able to perform analysis, monitoring and control of business processes and thus endangered their position. We have seen that our market need good-quality, powerful and reliable software, adapted to our business environment, which would provide competitive advantage to its users.

The century we live in is the century of services and learning. Learning every day lead us to the conclusion that the key to our success was innovation. Innovation and radical ideas are what Grappolo set apart from the others from the very beginning. Now that we have grown, we apply an efficient corporate system of innovation, as well as the corporate system of quality.

Our company respects opinions of every employee, because innovation demands different people and ways of thinking. At this time of global crisis it is hard to provide sufficient time and space for people to think, experiment and come up with new ideas. In the future we plan to provide larger long term working capital, and utilize it to provide time necessary for innovation and creativity.

In the next ten years IT market will be made of users of services and software along with IT equipment, necessary for performing the service. Sales of computers and computer parts has already moved to large supermarkets, specialized electronic equipment retail outlets, owned mostly by foreign companies. Laptops began replacing desktop computers in offices and homes. Innovation in production of TVs will not surprise the market, when each of them comes with a built-in computer.

In Serbia there is already a servicing center performing its activity in several countries in the region, which has contracts with several world producers. World producers will soon come to our market. Grappolo builds its future on original innovative solutions and top quality service!
